Hi, I'm Bianca

My Story

Blanca Sewing co. began as a personal journey during a challenging time when creator Bianca found comfort and healing in craft while navigating the mental health effects of acne medication. She discovered the grounding, therapeutic power of crochet. That quiet act of making evolved into something far greater: a lifelong passion for sewing, storytelling, sustainability and activism.

Inspired by her immigrant grandmothers - elegant, resourceful and resilient women who stitched their own wardrobes out of necessity and pride. Bianca saw first-hand how craft could be both a creative outlet and a legacy. Blanca Sewing Co. was created to honour that lineage, to celebrate the power of handmade, champion slow fashion in an age of overconsumption and trends, and to connect people to craft by sharing original designs with a new generation of makers.
