Frequently Asked Questions

How will my pattern be delivered to me? Each pattern is a digital PDF Download and will be delivered to your inbox once your purchase has been made. Crochet patterns can be printed or followed digitally on your phone or laptop. Sewing patterns come with a guide and printable pattern block so you will need a printer to be able to print your pattern pieces. All patterns will have the scale attached and if you need help or it’s your first time printing your own sewing pattern, we have an easy to follow and concise video showing you exactly how here, or follow along on our social media highlights to access this video too!
I’m new to sewing/crochet, what if I need help understanding the pattern? We strongly believe that the best way to learn is through community, and we encourage questions being asked! Feel free to contact us through the ‘Contact’ page on our website, ask questions on our journal forum tab to get shared insights from other creatives in our community, or DM us on instagram for a faster response.
How can I best contact the Blanca Team? The best way to formally contact us is via the ‘Contact’ page on our website. Whether it’s an inquiry about your purchase, custom order or collaboration request, all inquiries will be answered within 24 hours of receiving them.
When can I expect my custom order to arrive? Custom orders are placed via the ‘Contact’ page on our website and you will discuss and agree the details of your design with Bianca before your design is approved by both you and the designer. Each design is unique and we pride ourselves on making your designs as quickly and carefully as possible. This is a true craft for us. Generally a custom design will be dispatched within 4-6 weeks of the invoice being payed. If you require a custom design for a certain date or event please include these details in your initial conversation with Bianca!
How can I hire custom pieces for styling, events and photoshoots? Hiring our custom designs that are not for sale are welcome! We showcase our custom hire pieces via the ‘hire’ highlight on our instagram. These pieces are unique, delicate and from our personal archive and we request your utmost care when hiring and using them. A contract, hire fee and bond is required when hiring these pieces and we request that you do not clean or attempt to clean these pieces yourself. A dry cleaning fee is worked into the hire fee and each piece is unique in it’s cleaning methods and needs. If there is any damage done to the piece, we also request your transparency and no attempts to mend the garment to be made.
Returns and Refunds: Because all patterns are digital files we can not accept returns or refunds once you have purchased and received your pattern unless you have accidentally purchased the same pattern twice. If this happens please email contact@blancasewingco.com with your name and order number and we will process this for you. Returns and refunds on custom orders are unique. We strive to design and create the perfect garment for you and before we dispatch your custom order we will send you videos for your review. If you're not satisfied with the outcome or fit, you have options. You can request an alteration, exchange your custom for an item from our current ready made collection, create a new custom design, or request a refund. Your satisfaction is our top priority.
